The Blanco Bowling Club was built in 1947 by Roland and Viola Bindseil. This building houses a restaurant, 9-pin bowling alley with six lanes, and a bar. The location was once a garden for the Galbreath family, who operated a boarding house in the white house next door.
“He’ll go broke,” people said when the club was first opened. The business operated from 1947 up until recently. It was a favorite restaurant and hang out for many locals The cafe is closed for renovations but the bowling alley continues to operate.
